Rudy & Mauro play duo show at Oude Beurs – Mauro rushes off to Klappei

Tomorrow, October 1st, Rudy Trouvé and Mauro Pawlowski will play a duo set at Oude Beurs to help celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Radio Centraal’s “De Wolkenbreiers” programme.

This will happen at 8 pm sharp after which Mauro will rush off to Filmhuis Klappei where he will play a solo set after “Ashik Kerib”, his film of choice, has been shown to the audience.

Find the full addresses in the tourdates section.

Both events seem rather unmissable.

As was last Tuesday’s Het Kralenspel – another Radio Centraal show – featuring (albeit in spirit) a mystery guest mentioned in this very post:

Rudy Trouvé drops Chinese cat

The friendly folks at Jezus Factory Records have announced the forthcoming release of Pawlowski, Trouvé & Ward 2, the follow-up to the first volume which was released ten years ago.

Rudy Trouvé has dropped a digital single with accompanying video (featuring one of those funny Chinese cat dolls) as a nice little teaser for this joyful event.

You can preorder the album, which should come out late November/early December, by clicking here.

Below, you can listen to Elko & Jeroen’s latest episode of Het Kralenspel, featuring special guest Milan Warmoeskerken.

On Saturday, Rudy Trouvé, Daan and many others will be playing seperate sets at special (monumental) locations in the Dutch town of Bergen-Op-Zoom.

Rudy Trouvé presents new exhibition and Mechanics concert

Rudy Trouvé has a new exhibition coming up at CC Muze in Heusden-Zolder. From the 28th of August until the 25th of September this cultural centre will present some of his most recent work – a collection of drawings, collages and paintings.

Tomorrow (August 13th), he will share the stage with Mauro Pawlowski, Jean-Yves Evrard, Roman Hiele and Eric Thielemans at the Jazz Middelheim festival. Under the moniker The Mechanics are Dancing in your Head this all-star formation will reinterpret some of the music of Ornette Coleman. Not to be missed!
